On May 13th and 14th at the QT Hotel on the Gold Coast, we were thrilled to host Law Biz Con 2024. It was a privilege to welcome attendees to an event that was not just about learning but about creating connections that strengthen our legal community.
The conference kicked off with an electric buzz as attendees met for drinks and mingling in Sunday night. Then on Monday morning guests picked up their registration gifts and headed in for an unforgettable opening with Nick Britt as he got attendee Carley Ronan on stage where she had to poor a full cup of water on her head…. But the water had disappeared! It was a fun lesson on trusting the process.
One of the highlights of the event was our keynote speaker, Camille Vasquez. Her insightful speech not only inspired but also provided practical advice for handling high-stakes litigation and managing media attention in today’s digital age. Following her keynote, I joined her on stage for a Q&A session, which was fascinating. Alongside Camille, we had a lineup of distinguished speakers who covered a wide range of topics, from technological advancements in legal practice, to marketing your law firm and innovative firm management strategies.
Networking breaks were lively, and conversations were held as new friendships were forged and potential collaborations were discussed. It was inspiring to see such energy and enthusiasm, with every interaction promising possibilities for future partnerships.
We also offered some fantastic giveaways, including copies of my new book, Seven Figure Law Firm. This resource is filled with strategies for business growth and aims to help attendees extend the value of what they learned at the conference.
The first day concluded with our gala dinner, an absolute highlight for me. Around 140 guests gathered in the Hollywood-themed ballroom to celebrate the achievements of Scalable Law Clients who have excelled as law firm owners. The awards ceremony was a festive occasion, honouring those who have innovated and excelled in various aspects of legal practice. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun, and the evening was filled with great food, dancing and awesome people.

As the conference wrapped up, saying goodbye was bittersweet. It felt like we were just getting started on so many exciting discussions and ideas. More than 70% of delegates brought tickets for next year before they even left. Wow, this just blew me away! I’m already looking forward to next year and hope to welcome even more of you to what promises to be an even bigger and better Law Biz Con 2025.
